How to protect your best friend and your family from worms
Your best friend should remain healthy. You should as well keep your family safe from worms.
If you want to protect your best friend from worms, then ensure that you remove all faeces from your garden regularly. You can do it before the end of every day.
Ensure not to feed your dog raw meat.
Ensure that your children have hygiene. You can teach them good hygiene like washing the hands before putting anything in their mouth and every time they handle the dog.
Keep fleas under control
Clean your dog’s living area on a regular basis. This will ensure that your dog lives in a clean environment. Wash her bedding at least twice a week and ensure that the place is free from any faeces.
Cover your child’s sandpit when not in use.
Clean her play area. If you keep the dog’s play area or the kennel clean, the dog will be safe.
Keep her away from animal feces when you go for walks with your dog-One thing that you must be knowing is that dogs like walking with their nose on the ground. They tend to smell and get in contact with anything that has a shouting smell.
Eliminate worm carrying pests such as mosquitoes, flea, rodents and many more. Get rid of stagnant water where mosquitoes can breed. Terminate any other pest in the home.
Use a deworming program every three months. However, ensure that you deworm puppies every month until their immune system is strong enough.
